The Process of Designing is Simple.
1. Schedule a Consultation
At Avenue A, our goal is to create relationship with all of our clients. That starts with a conversation. We want to know your interests, goals, motivations and needs, so we can use our expertise to serve you sufficiently. When you visit Avenue A, we want you here to stay. So, let’s sit down, toast, and connect with one another.
2. Design
You will select everything from the fabric, material, buttons, thread, and structure detail for your garment. Crafting a design is as detailed as choosing your lapel shape, pocket design, even down to shoe design. Anything you can imagine, can be selected.
3. Fitting
Measurements will be taken and you will try on one of our test garments so you are pinned for accuracy. All of your sizing information will be stored in our database, that way your next visit will be focused on design only.
4. Construction
Once we have gone over every detail and confirmed your selections, our team will begin construction. Our process takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on your level of detail desired. Our tailors work from raw cloth to construction so your item is a true one of one.
5. Final Fitting
Once your garment is complete, we will schedule a final fitting with you for full inspection and fit confirmation. In the small chance that any changes need to be made, our tailor will take further measurements and make the necessary adjustments at no cost to you.
